The Querciabella range consists of seven distinct wines that reflect
the rich diversity of Tuscan terroir.
Chianti Classico (Communes of Greve, Gaiole, Radda and Panzano)
Querciabella produces five wines from its vineyards located in the
Chianti Classico zone: Batàr, a blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay;
Camartina, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese; Palafreno,
a monovarietal Merlot; and Querciabella, a Chianti Classico DOCG
(also Riserva in some vintages), made of 100% Sangiovese.
Maremma (Alberese)
From the vineyards in coastal Maremma, Querciabella produces
Mongrana, a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Chianti Classico/Maremma blend
In spring 2013, Querciabella released Turpino, an IGT blend of
Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot, composed of equal proportions
of grapes from both of the estate’s production areas.
